News Bite: Nutcrackers Hit The Mainstream


If you live in New York City, nutcrackers and nemos have always been a summer staple, from Washington Heights to Brooklyn. And if you're that thirst for one, you can even cop one from your local bodega in the dead of winter. So New York Daily News, you are officially late on this one.
The intriguing thing about this article is the people the writer chose to quote and interview. I don't think I've ever read a newspaper article that used the words "twisted" and "sauced" or spoke to a dude with as sketchy of a name as "Freddy Imperial."
Underage drinking is no good, but nutcrackers are. Here's hoping a crackdown doesn't happen come summertime.
