Black Thought (Part 2)

2010 Miss America
2010 Miss America Pageant winner 22 year old Virginia native Caressa Cameron is the latest black pageant winner since 2005. After being crowned Miss Virginia, Cameron won the major pageant. What’s interesting about this story is not that a black woman was crowned Miss America; that been done before. The interesting thing was one of the judges in the pageant. The judges were comprised of different celebrities in all different professions and nationalities such as actress Vivica Fox and comedian Paul Rodriguez. Another judge was radio personality Rush Limbaugh who is no stranger to controversy when it comes to African American. Long perceived to be a racist with his outlandish comments about President Barack Obama and NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb, it’s surprising that he would have anything to do with voting in a black Miss America Pageant winner. I can’t help but wonder if he put aside all his convictions and voted her his top choice or if the other judges were responsible for voting Cameron as the winner…idk what do you think?

MUSIC VIDEO- NINA SKY "Beautiful People"

"Beautiful People"is not just another video, it's some insight into what's
been going on in our lives. This includes rehearsals, live performances, and spending time with some of our FAVORITE people: family, friends, and fans. A lot of artists have a different definition of what 'beautiful' means. These are good times with the most important people in our lives and they represent the REAL definition of beauty. This is us with a camera on, capturing those moments when the camera's off."

Behind the Scenes of Five Classic Album Covers

If you're a fan of hip-hop or artistic creation, then you should already know who Daniel Hastings is. If not, welcome to class, I'm about to school you. He's a photographer and video director (shot over 150 album covers and more than 12 music videos) who made a name for himself in the 90s by snapping shots of everyone from KRS-One to Jodeci. While he once held a post as JIVE Records' art director for several years, Hastings is now the director of his own company, Atomicus Creative Group. These days, he's working on full-length films like the romantic comedy Love Potion.
Daniel took a trip down memory lane to shed some light on the who, what, when, where and why of five classic album covers he's shot. Like Biggie, he's got a story to tell.

TRAILER: Banksy- "Exit Through the Gift shop"

In the late 1990s, a hybrid form of graffiti began appearing in cities around the world. Enlisting stickers, stencils, posters, and sculpture and spread by the burgeoning Internet, it would be labeled “street art” and establish itself as the most significant counterculture movement of a generation. Los Angeles–based filmmaker Terry Guetta set out to record this secretive world in all its thrilling detail. For more than eight years, he traveled with the pack, roaming the streets of America and Europe, the stealthy witness of the world’s most infamous vandals. But after meeting the British stencil artist known only as “Banksy,” things took a bizarre turn.

Sundance has shown films by unknown artists but never an anonymous one. Banksy turns the tables on the only man who has ever filmed him, creating a remarkable documentary that is part personal journey and part an exposé of the art world with its mind-altering mix of hot air and hype. In the end, Exit Through the Gift Shop is an amazing ride, a cautionary modern fairy tale . . . with bolt cutters

Who's Hotter Part 4

Call her a “one hit wonder” or “Diddy’s side chic” but u got to admit for someone whose career hasn’t blown up the way it was suppose to, Cassie has still been able to remain relevant mainly because of her looks.

After those controversial pics popped up on the net this Sean John girl should have been finished. However, she still dropping records and proving that she’s a true “eye candy” for real.

Rosa Acosta is well on her way to becoming a household name like her predecessors Melissa Ford and Gloria Velez. Coming to this country on a few years ago and blowing up this past year with appearances in music videos for artist like Drake and Mario video and appearances in countless magazines.

When I found out that Soldier Boy bagged it all of a sudden Rosa Acosta’s aura didn’t seem so hypnotizing. Cassie got this chic easily beat…from the neck up!!!

Winner is…
Tell me I’m wrong and you won’t be for doing so, they both bad this was a tuff one!

"Perhaps its a little easier to, take a piece of music than it is to learn how to play a guitar or something...True, Just like its probably easier to snap a picture with that camera than it is to paint a picture. But what the photographer is to the painter is what the modern producer, DJ & computer musician is to the instrumentalist...." -G-Shock
