Ten Years Later: Big Pun Lives On
The Super Bowl isn't the only momentous occasion being celebrated this weekend. Sun. Feb 7 also marks the ten year anniversary of Big Pun's death. Taken from the rap game at just 28 years old, the prolific emcee left an undeniable mark in hip-hop, being the first solo Latino rapper to earn platinum-selling accolades. To celebrate the Bronx-bred lyricist's mark in the music industry, producers Buckwild, Green Lantern and Sean C & LV, with the help of DJ Soul and G Bo the Pro, are teaming together to release the 'Big Pun Tribute.'
