Notably Missing

There is always controversy whenever MTV does their top 10 hottest rappers in the game, yet this year’s controversy was not on who made the list but rather who didn’t. I kind of expected the top three on the list to pan out the way it did with Drake#3, Lil Wayne#2, and Jay-Z taking the #1 spot. However, I expected Eminem to not only make the list but to make it into the top five and why not? He did make the most highly anticipated come back after taking a few years off only to have the top selling album of the year thus far. It only makes me question the credibility of those responsible for comprising the list and what qualifications are they looking for in rapper in order to consider them hot!! I never like list like this and never will; like Nas said “there aint no best”. Here is the list as it went…
